All engineers have the necessary degree of competency in data, voice, optical fibres & electrical installations to enable them to work on a wide variety of projects. All operatives that DIS employ on site undergo a thorough selection process including reference check and CRB checks. They are all equipped with the appropriate tools and personal protective equipment (PPE), to comply with Health and Safety and Environmental legislation. Additional training to support these areas are:

• CSCS Certification (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• IPAF Certification (International Powered Access Federation)
• First Aid Certification
• PASMA Certification (Prefabricated Access Suppliers & Manufactureres Association)
• Security Clearence for work with the Minstry of Defence (MOD)
